Drew University - Student Center

JME revitalized the student center dining at Drew University, creating a modern, self-sufficient facility that serves students, faculty, and guests at the heart of campus. Completed in late 2011, the design prioritized flexibility and on-demand service to function as an independent food hub within the campus core.

Highlights include a suite of made-to-order offerings: an espresso and smoothie bar, deli, exhibition cooking, grill, Mediterranean station, and a Grab and Go area. The plan supports catering and multipurpose events with efficient circulation and clear adjacencies, enabling quick service throughout the day and seamless transitions for special functions. The result is a vibrant destination of approximately 8,000 to 10,000 square feet that combines variety, speed, and campus-wide hospitality.
